Below the map will find directions from North of Boston, South of Boston, West of Boston and via the MBTA.
Where we are:
The Fireplace is located at 1634 Beacon Street in Brookline’s Washington
Square at the major intersection of Beacon and Washington Streets. We’re
sure you won’t miss us!
Parking:
There is a parking lot located behind the restaurant, off of Washington
Street. There is also plenty of parking available on the street - 3 hour
diagonal parking by meter along the center of Beacon Street and 5 hour parallel
parking by meter along Washington Street.
From North of Boston:
Take 128 South to 95 South to 93 South. Get off at the North Station/Storrow Drive exit. Follow Storrow to Kenmore Square. At first light, take right onto Beacon Street. At 3-way fork, go straight, staying on Beacon Street until you reach Washington Street. THE FIREPLACE is on the corner, on the right hand side of the street.
From South of Boston:
OPTION #1
Take 95 North to 93 North. Get off at the North Station/Storrow Drive exit.
Follow Storrow to Kenmore Square. At first light, take right onto Beacon Street.
At 3-way fork, go straight, staying on Beacon Street until you reach Washington
Street. THE FIREPLACE is on the corner, on the right hand side of the street.
OPTION #2
Take 128 North or 95 North to the Route 9/Brookline exit. Take Route
9 East into Brookline. Turn left onto Chestnut Hill Ave. (approximately
1.8 miles past Bloomingdale’s). There is no street sign to indicate
Chestnut Hill Ave. Please look for a sign that says NEWBURY COLLEGE TAKE
LEFT; this sign will be on your right hand side. This left is Chestnut
Hill Ave. Then turn right onto Beacon Street. Follow the numbers to 1634
Beacon. We are on the left hand side of the street, on the corner of
Beacon and Washington Streets.
From West of Boston (Mass Pike):
Take Mass Pike to Route 128 South. Then take 128 to the Route 9/Brookline exit. Take Route 9 East into Brookline. Turn left onto Chestnut Hill Ave (approximately 1.8 miles past Bloomingdale’s). There is no street sign to indicate Chestnut Hill Ave. Please look for a sign that says NEWBURY COLLEGE TAKE LEFT; this sign will be on your right hand side. This left is Chestnut Hill Ave. Then turn right onto Beacon Street. Follow the numbers to 1634 Beacon. We are on the left hand side of the street, on the corner of Beacon and Washington Streets.
From the (T) Subway:
Take the Green line, C Train (Cleveland Circle), outbound. Get off at the Washington Square stop, which is the fourth stop after Coolidge Corner. We are on the right hand side of the street, across the street from where the subway will drop you off.
